Turkey Burgers
- Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 pounds ground turkey
- 1 1/2 teaspoons poultry seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon dried marjoram
- 1/2 teaspoon ground sage
- 1/4 teaspoon ground savory
- 1 teaspoon basil
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt
- 1/4 teaspoon fresh ground pepper
- 2 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup pecans -- chopped fine
- Directions:
- Min all ingredients well, make into patties. (May need to
add a little olive oil or water if meat was very lean as
the burgers may be too dry.) Press chopped pecans into
one side. Grill or fry until done, about 15 - 20 minutes.
Serve with low-fat mayo on wheat buns (warmed) with
lettuce, tomato, onion and alfalfa sprouts.
